: AFTERCARE :

✦ Thank you for your trust  ✦

To help your tattoo heal as cleanly and evenly as possible and to preserve the fine lines,

please follow these instructions carefully.

First 3 days: second skin

After the session, your tattoo is covered with a special protective second skin film.

It protects the fresh tattoo from friction, dust, clothing, and external contact.

You can wear the film for up to 3 days if:

→ it stays in place well; the edges have not lifted in a way that exposes the tattoo;

→ there is no strong irritation, burning, or rash under the film;

→ there is not too much fluid collected under the film.

A small amount of plasma, ink-colored fluid, or a “blurred” look under the film is normal.

It does not mean that the tattoo is damaged.

What you can do with the film on:

→ take a short warm shower; wear normal loose clothing;

→ sleep with the film on;

→ move gently as usual.

After showering, do not rub the film with a towel — gently pat it dry with a clean towel or let it air dry.

What you SHOULD NOT DO with the film on:

→ take a bath;

→ swim in a pool, sea, lake, or jacuzzi;

→ go to a sauna, hammam, or solarium;

→ sunbathe; do intense workouts that make you sweat heavily;

→ rub the film with clothing, belts, underwear, or bags;

→ pierce the film to release fluid;

→ tape the edges with regular plasters or tape;

→ apply cream over the film.

: HOW TO REMOVE SECOND SKIN :

It is best to remove the film in the shower or after it has softened slightly with warm water.

Wash your hands thoroughly.

Wet the film with warm, not hot, water.

Start removing it slowly, pulling it along the skin, parallel to the body — not upwards.

Do not rip it off quickly.

After removing the film, wash the tattoo with warm water and a gentle fragrance-free cleanser.

Do not use a sponge, scrub, alcohol, chlorhexidine, peroxide, or harsh antiseptics.

Gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel.

Let the skin dry completely for 10–15 minutes.

After that, apply a very thin layer of the healing cream.

: ROUTINE :

After removing the film:

→ wash,

→ dry,

→ apply a thin layer of the cream;

after that: apply a thin layer 1–2 times a day;

you can apply a little extra if the skin feels very tight;

you do not need to apply it every few hours “just in case.”

For fine line tattoos, it is very important not to over-moisturize the tattoo.

A lot of cream does not speed up healing; it can soften the skin too much and interfere with clean healing.

If the second skin comes off earlier

If the film has slightly lifted at the edge but the tattoo is still fully covered, simply leave it alone.

If the tattoo is exposed, if water, dust, or lint has gotten under the film, if the film is leaking,

or if it has lifted too much, it needs to be removed completely.

If you feel discomfort, redness, or a reaction to the film

Mild redness around a fresh tattoo on the first day can be normal.

However, if you experience strong burning, itching, rash, blisters, intense redness in the exact shape of the film,

or if your skin feels “wrong” under the film, it is better to remove it.

Do not do the following until the tattoo is fully healed:

→ bath;

→ swimming pool;

→ sea;

→ lake;

→ jacuzzi;

→ sauna;

→ hammam.

This usually means at least 2–3 weeks, but do not rely only on the number of days — pay attention to the condition of the skin.

The tattoo should be fully closed, with no scabs, peeling, cracks, or sensitivity.

During the first week, avoid:

→ intense workouts;

→ running until you sweat heavily;

→ hot yoga;

→ sauna;

→ workouts where clothing or equipment rubs against the tattoo.

Light activity, walks, and gentle stretching are okay as long as the tattoo is not being rubbed and you are not overheating.

If you accidentally sweat a lot:

Wash the tattoo with warm water; gently dry it with a paper towel;

let it dry completely; apply a thin layer of aftercare if the skin feels tight.

Do not work out with a thick layer of cream on the tattoo. Sweat + friction + too much cream is a bad combination for healing.

Sun exposure is one of the main reasons why fine lines lose contrast faster.

If anything looks unusual or you are worried about something, please message me and send a photo in daylight.
